Why an investigator has fewer reviews than a roofer
Most people who hire an investigator have no interest in a public record of having done so. Someone working through a custody matter, a business owner who suspected a partner, a carrier that opened a claim investigation: none of them have a reason to attach their name to it afterward, and we do not ask them to. Under section 493.6119 of the Florida Statutes the contents of an investigative file are confidential to the client, and that confidence does not end when the case does.
So the count here is smaller than it would be for a trade where the work is visible from the street. That is the nature of this profession rather than a measure of how much work goes through it. What follows is from the clients who chose to write something.

Are these reviews real?
Every review above was written by a client on Google and is reproduced word for word, including the typos. We do not write them and we do not edit them. They are all publicly visible on the Google Business Profile for Insight Investigative Group, so you can check any of them against the source.
Why are some of them vague about the work?
Because the client chose to keep it that way, which is usually the right call. A review that describes the matter in detail puts information into public view that the investigative file itself protects. Several people said the work was good and deliberately said nothing about what it was, and that is the better instinct.
Can I speak to a past client as a reference?
No, and no licensed agency should offer it. Section 493.6119 of the Florida Statutes prohibits releasing the contents of an investigative file to anyone other than the client, and confirming that a named person was a client is a disclosure in itself. What we can do is tell you plainly what a matter like yours usually involves, what it costs, and what it will not produce.
