Insight Investigative Group, LLC is a licensed Florida private investigative agency, agency license A3400127, based in Bradenton and working across Sarasota, Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Call 941-297-8213 to speak with a licensed investigator. Consultations are confidential and we will scope the work before you commit to anything.

Before you call, if you think you are being watched

If you believe someone has access to your phone, your laptop, your car or your home, contact us from a device and a location that person cannot reach. A library computer, a work phone, or a friend’s phone are all better than the device you suspect. Do not search for us, call us, or discuss the call inside a space you think may be compromised. This costs you nothing and it protects the work before it starts.

What happens after you contact us

1. You speak with an investigator, not an intake clerk

You will talk to a licensed investigator about what is actually going on. We will tell you honestly whether an investigator is the right answer for your situation. We have told people the answer was no.

2. We scope the work and quote it before anything starts

You get the price in writing before any work begins, along with what the work will and will not cover. There is no open retainer quietly draining and no invoice for hours you did not approve.

3. You get a written report you can use

Every case produces a written report documenting what was found and, just as importantly, what could not be confirmed. Work is documented to evidentiary standards, with chain of custody maintained on all recorded media.

What we will not do at any price

We do not obtain bank balances or account records, telephone call records, sealed or expunged records, credit reports, or medical records. Those are protected by state and federal law and lawful access runs through a subpoena, a court order, or the subject’s own written authorization. We do not record private conversations, which section 934.03 of the Florida Statutes prohibits without the consent of all parties, and we do not place tracking devices on vehicles a client does not own, which section 934.425 prohibits. A firm that offers those things is telling you how it will handle your case generally.

Employment, tenant, credit and insurance screening

If a report will be used to decide on employment, tenancy, credit or insurance, it is regulated under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and we handle it as a managed engagement rather than an online order. Call and we will scope it properly. There is no self-serve path for these purposes and that is deliberate.

Your file is confidential

Under section 493.6119 of the Florida Statutes, a licensed investigative agency may not release the contents of an investigative file to anyone other than the client or employer, subject to narrow exceptions including a request or subpoena from the state regulator. Section 493.6121(2) separately requires the agency to keep that file for at least two years.

Send us a message

The fastest route is the phone: call 941-297-8213 and a licensed investigator answers, day or night. If you would rather write, this reaches us directly and we reply within 48 hours.

Keep it brief. Do not put anything here you would not want in writing, and do not send documents until we have spoken. We will take the detail on the call.
